Contract Description:
The purpose of this contract is to provide conservation enforcement of Tribal Codes and Tribal harvest limits, enforcement of Tribal, State, and Federal laws within the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservations 1855 Treaty Area, conservation enforcement on the mainstream of the Columbia River at all Usual and Accustomed fishing areas in Zone 6 and the east end of Zone 5, and is targeted at reducing the illegal take of Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon, and other resident fish to aid in the rebuilding of native fish populations.



FY23 Objectives:
1) Review and refine Tribal Conservation Enforcement RM&E Methods and Designs as needed
2) Enforcement of Tribal, State, and Federal Codes
3) Gather Law Enforcement Statistics
4) Summarize Tribal Conservation Enforcement efforts
5) Disseminate Tribal Conservation Enforcement Data and Results
6) Tribal Conservation Enforcement Regional Coordination
